Prva A Liga top team -Kriva Palanka (8-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked MZT (2-7) 83-48 . Kriva Palanka dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to MZT 's 28. Kriva Palanka forced 20 MZT turnovers and outrebounded them 42-27 including a 33-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Kriva Palanka players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by MZT 's players. They brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. American forward Alexis Poole (188-1999, college: KSU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners and her fellow American import Abby Niehues (186-1999, college: S.Nazarene) chipped in 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 blocks (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was the former international center Ivana Kmetovska (190-1995, college: WSU) with 10 points and 7 rebounds and scored 10 points. Four MZT players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kriva Palanka have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 8-1 record, which they share with Vardar and KAM Basket. MZT at the other side keeps the sixth position with seven games lost.
